Organic Rose Petals
BOTANICAL NAME: Rosa Centifolia
Rosa Centifolia is known for its fragrance and having many petals. It was traditionally associated with Venus, the goddess of love and beauty and has been long known for its healing powers.
The Native Americans learned how to use the roses growing in their region as a medicine and, in cases of emergency, as a food. The leaves, petals, hips, and roots were widely used for a variety of conditions, including colds, fevers, diarrhea, influenza, and stomach troubles.
The fruit of many members of this genus is a very rich source of vitamins and minerals, especially in vitamins A, C and E, flavanoids and other bio-active compounds. It is also a fairly good source of essential fatty acids, which is fairly unusual for a fruit. Roses also have astringent and anti inflammatory properties and is very cooling to the body.
You will get a bag full of petals and full buds in various shades of reds and some pinks.
